About The Position

This role involves learning and demonstrating Priefert Mfg. products, requiring ranching and equine knowledge. The representative will communicate professionally with customers, solicit orders, answer product-related questions, and provide ongoing support. Responsibilities also include providing product samples and catalogs, and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Ranching and equine knowledge.
• Ability to talk to others to convey information effectively.
• Ability to communicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers.
• Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
• Ability to handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiate with others.
• Ability to learn ERP software as well as Microsoft Office.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to manage time and work independently.
• Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Maintains composure in stressful situations.
• Reports to work on time and as scheduled.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience in sales, shipping, inventory, invoicing and RMA's preferred.
• Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and pass an exam on all Priefert Mfg. products.
• Communicate professionally with all customers.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
• Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
• Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
• Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
• Other duties as assigned.
