About The Position

Pacific Medical, Inc. is a leading distributor for durable medical equipment, prosthetics/orthotics, and surgical instruments, established in 1986 and servicing the seven western states. They provide services directly to patients, medical networks, physician clinics, and within their patient care facilities, dedicated to advancing patient care through excellent service and product technology. This full-time position is for their Roseville office, focusing on the fitting and delivery of orthotic soft goods, functional knee braces, and diabetic footwear. The role also involves gait evaluations for orthotic intervention, casting for lower extremity custom orthotics, and developing proficiency in modifying and adjusting orthotic devices. Additionally, the position requires developing skills in practice management, including charting, ordering, coding, and follow-up care, as well as gaining basic knowledge in prosthetics. The ideal candidate is hard-working, self-motivated, possesses strong clinical skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn, able to work both independently and closely with practitioners. This is considered an excellent entry-level opportunity, with training provided for ABC/BOC certification if the hired individual is not already certified.

Responsibilities

  • Fitting and delivery of orthotic soft goods
  • Fitting and delivery of functional knee braces
  • Fitting and delivery of diabetic footwear
  • Gait evaluations for orthotic intervention
  • Casting for all lower extremity custom orthotics
  • Modifying and adjusting all orthotic devices
  • Charting, ordering, coding, and follow-up care for new patients
  • Developing basic knowledge in prosthetics to aid CP if necessary
