About The Position

Jefferson Health is seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery to join our growing, high-volume academic trauma program at our Level II Trauma Center. This is a Per Diem position. The Trauma Orthopedic Surgeon provides specialized surgical and non-surgical care for patients with acute musculoskeletal injuries, including fractures, dislocations, and complex trauma involving bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and soft tissues. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and operative settings; performing fracture fixation and reconstructive procedures; collaborating with multidisciplinary trauma teams; and participating in call coverage.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Eligible for PA State medical licensure and DEA registration
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team environment.
