The role involves providing comprehensive medical treatment, services, and expert recommendations for patients. They offer comprehensive services including onsite Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy, MRI, and digital X-ray, prioritizing patient care and striving for the highest standards of service. Requirements
- Florida licensed as Physician Assistant or APRN
- 2-5 years of professional clinical experience
- Experience in Orthopedics
Responsibilities
- Obtain, compile, and record comprehensive patient medical data
- Serve as the 1st assistant in surgery, ensuring equipment readiness and maintaining surgical skills through continuous education
- Manage post-operative care, including writing orders, family communication, and performing post-op procedures
- Oversee discharge planning, dictating summaries, prescribing medications, and confirming follow-up appointments
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition, interpreting diagnostic test results
- Order and conduct diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and maintain detailed patient records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care assessments, planning, and evaluation
