Orthopedic Technician – Surgery Unit
About The Position
Sentara is currently hiring an Orthopedic Technician to work at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital located in Virginia Beach on Surgery Unit 5B. One year of acute patient care experience preferred. Join us to see what great teamwork all is about! Our busy 24 bed unit treats patients that are recovering from surgery including general, GYN, colorectal, urology, plastics, vascular and neuro spine. Under direct supervision of clinical staff and therapists, responsible for preparing/cleaning treatment areas, positioning patients, procurement and inventory of supplies and transporting patients. Supporting both clerical and clinical staff in successful provision of treatment plans
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One year of prior health care experience preferred.
- One year of prior patient care experience preferred.
- One yar of prior acute care experience preferred.
