Orthopedic Surgery Veterinary Technician I/II (Care)
About The Position
We are looking for skilled veterinary technicians who love learning and sharing knowledge to join our busy Small Animal Surgery team. This role involves assisting with appointments, small procedures under sedation and anesthesia in sterile and aseptic conditions, diagnostic workups including digital radiography and CT, and other surgical nursing skills. You will also be involved in client communication. Team members work closely with boarded veterinary surgeons, residents/interns, and veterinary students in a fast-paced teaching and learning environment. This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday.
Requirements
- Veterinary Technician I: High school diploma or equivalent and one year relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Veterinary Technician II: Credentialed veterinary technician
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, bend, kneel, pull, push, twist and stand for an extended period of time.
