About The Position

Are you a skilled veterinary technician who loves both learning and sharing your knowledge and is ready to join a busy team seeing cats and dogs with a wide variety of issues requiring orthopedic intervention? We are looking for our next team members in Small Animal Surgery and currently are recruiting for an Orthopedic Surgery position! Nursing staff in our service assist with appointments, small procedures under sedation and anesthesia in both sterile and aseptic conditions, diagnostic workups including digital radiography and CT, and a host of other surgical nursing skills in addition to client communication. Members of our team work closely with boarded veterinary surgeons, residents/interns, and veterinary students in a fast paced teaching and learning environment. Requirements

Veterinary Technician I - High school diploma or equivalent and one year relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Veterinary Technician II - Credentialed veterinary technician
Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, bend, kneel, pull, push, twist and stand for an extended period of time.
