About The Position
This is a locum tenens opportunity for an Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner in Atlanta, GA. The role involves providing outpatient orthopedic care, focusing on hand, joint, and sports patients. The Nurse Practitioner will work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, managing an average daily patient volume of approximately 21. The position utilizes the Epic EMR system and requires collaboration with the facility team to provide supplemental coverage.
Requirements
- Board Eligible
- Licensed in GA
- BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient orthopedic care focusing on hand, joint, and sports patients.
- Work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, in a scheduled clinical hours only model.
- Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 21 patients.
- Utilize Epic EMR for all patient documentation and charting.
- Collaborate with the facility team to deliver supplemental coverage as needed.
