About The Position

Proliance Surgeons is seeking a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon to build and lead a comprehensive shoulder and sports medicine practice across our Greater Seattle network. This is a full-scope clinical role with real practice-building autonomy — you'll have access to a dedicated ambulatory surgery center, a robust referral network, and a physician-led culture that keeps decision-making in the hands of surgeons. Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Shoulder & Elbow or Shoulder & Sports Medicine required
  • Active Washington state licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • DEA certification and eligibility for hospital privileges
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to team-based, patient-centered care

  • Experience and interest in complex shoulder reconstruction cases

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat shoulder, upper extremity, and general sports medicine conditions across surgical and non-surgical presentations
  • Perform arthroscopic and open shoulder procedures consistent with fellowship training, including complex and revision cases
  • Develop individualized care plans focused on restoring function, mobility, and quality of life
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, athletic trainers, primary care providers, and specialists across the care continuum
  • Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, rehabilitation, and injury prevention
  • Participate in call coverage rotation (details provided during interview)
  • Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
  • Engage in community outreach and sports program partnerships as interest and schedule allow
