About The Position

Foundation Medical is a leading independent sales agency for Arthrex, seeking a competitive driver to meet and exceed medical device sales objectives for their territory. The role involves representing Foundation by educating surgeons and healthcare professionals about Arthrex products, building strong business relationships, and developing sales strategies to increase territory results. The position requires identifying and implementing new sales plans and marketing strategies, working with a Sales Manager for coaching and training, transferring knowledge to peers, and maintaining ongoing training in sales skills and product knowledge. The representative will also participate in sales meetings, labs, and training, uphold the mission of Arthrex and Foundation Medical, and manage caseloads based on surgery schedules with varying hours.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must be comfortable in surgery/operating room environments
  • Excellent communication including public speaking and presentation, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel within your territory on a regular basis up to 150 miles a day, and within the state as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the orthopedic medical device industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed medical device sales objectives for the territory.
  • Educate and inform surgeons and healthcare professionals about Arthrex products.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase territory results.
  • Communicate with current and new customer accounts.
  • Identify and implement new sales plans and effective marketing strategies.
  • Work with Sales Manager by receiving coaching, training, and mentoring.
  • Transfer knowledge to peer Sales Representatives and to Sales Associates when needed.
  • Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and other critical business applications.
  • Participate in and attend sales meetings, local labs and off-site training.
  • Uphold the mission of Arthrex and Foundation Medical by "Helping surgeons treat their patients better™".
  • Manage caseloads based on surgery schedules with varying hours.
