About The Position

Oklahoma Surgical Hospital (OSH) is seeking a PRN Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This position is a safety-sensitive role that involves delivering personalized, comprehensive care to patients using the nursing process. The RN will be responsible for providing leadership to non-licensed staff by prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical-surgical nursing care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Initially, the position will require part-time or full-time hours for orientation, after which a minimum of 96 hours per month will be expected, with opportunities for more hours if desired. The first week of orientation will involve Monday - Wednesday, 8-hour shifts, with Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts being ideal. This role offers a flat rate of pay and qualifies for shift differentials.

Requirements

• Current Oklahoma or multi-state RN license.
• Current BLS.
• Completion of ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• Knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current nursing practices that are unit/age specific.

Nice To Haves

• The first week of orientation will require Monday - Wednesday, 8-hour shifts, although, Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts would be ideal.
