About The Position
This is a full-time position with 36 weekly hours on the night shift. The unit is a post-operative surgical telemetry floor specializing in Orthopedics, with two 24-bed all-private room units. The Orthopedic program is recognized for its high performance in knee replacements. New graduate nurses are welcome.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky RN License
- BCLS required
Nice To Haves
- ACLS preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Assesses and identifies patient needs and implements appropriate interventions.
- Establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care.
- Assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems.
- Performs technical aspects of care competently.
- Acts as a family and patient resource to guide them through all stages of the patient’s orthopedic journey.
