Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Licensed Medical Doctor – State of Virginia
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Current DEA
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Collaborative approach with other physicians and providers
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide guidance to other medical staff
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive orthopedic evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical care
  • Perform orthopedic procedures consistent with training and specialty focus
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers, physical therapy, and clinical staff
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, ethical, and professional standards
