About The Position
The Orthopedic Surgery Service at Sharon Hospital, which is part of Northwell, is seeking a board-certified, full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its team. This role will primarily focus on outpatient care, with some inpatient coverage to support Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- NCCPA certified.
- Strong surgical and patient management experience.
- RNF certification and surgical experience (for Nurse Practitioners).
Nice To Haves
- One to three years of surgical experience.
- Surgical residency trained candidates.
- New graduates will be considered.
- New nurse practitioners with RNF certification and surgical experience.
Responsibilities
- Primarily outpatient care for Orthopedics.
- Provide some inpatient coverage for Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology.
