About The Position
Private Therapy Services (PTS) is seeking an Orthopedic Physical Therapist for their outpatient private practice. This role emphasizes true one-on-one patient care, allowing therapists to focus fully on each patient and utilize their clinical judgment. The practice, which has served the Charleston community for over 20 years, is PT-led and locally owned, differentiating itself from high-volume chains. PTS believes in providing skilled therapists with the time, trust, and support to deliver exceptional work, helping patients recover from orthopedic injuries, surgery, persistent pain, and movement limitations.
Requirements
- A South Carolina Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong orthopedic evaluation, clinical reasoning, and treatment skills
- A commitment to individualized, evidence-based patient care
- Clear communication and patient education skills
- A collaborative, dependable, and growth-oriented mindset
- An interest in continued clinical development
Nice To Haves
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and post-operative needs.
- Combine evidence-based treatment, progressive exercise, patient education, and hands-on care to help patients reduce pain, restore movement, and return safely to work, recreation, athletics, and everyday life.
- Solve complex clinical problems, build meaningful patient relationships, and take ownership of the entire recovery process.
