About The Position
Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Patient Care Technician to join their team. This role supports a smooth surgical experience by providing essential care and comfort to patients and their families at the main ROC location. Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Performing customer service duties.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a personal contact, provide support and help to alleviate stress for families of surgical patients during the perioperative period.
- Track the patient’s surgical journey and alert patient’s family of their status as applicable.
- Observe patient’s condition and immediately communicate changes or concerns to the assigned RN or a supervisor.
- Assist in transferring patients from bed to stretcher and vice versa as needed.
- Follow emergency procedures including use of CPR if necessary.
- Escort patients out of the building following discharge.
- Stock department equipment and supplies.
