About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join a thriving and expanding practice in La Crosse, Wisconsin. As part of Emplify Health, formed by the integration of Gundersen Health System and Bellin Health, you will practice within a respected, not-for-profit, physician-led healthcare network serving communities across the Midwest. This is predominantly a hand surgery practice, including complex and pediatric cases, with an opportunity to incorporate general orthopedics. You will participate in general orthopedic call (currently 1:14) and practice at a Level II Trauma Center supported by fellowship-trained trauma specialists. You will collaborate with a highly experienced, subspecialty-trained orthopedic team and have the opportunity for outreach to regional and rural communities. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited orthopedic residency.
• Completion of an accredited hand fellowship.
• ABOS board certified or eligible.
• Eligible for licensure across our multi-state service region.

Responsibilities

• Perform predominantly hand surgery, including complex and pediatric cases.
• Incorporate general orthopedics into practice as opportunities arise.
• Participate in general orthopedic call (currently 1:14).
• Practice at a Level II Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with a highly experienced, subspecialty-trained orthopedic team.
• Conduct outreach to regional and rural communities.
