About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join a thriving and expanding practice in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This role is part of Emplify Health, a network formed by the integration of Gundersen Health System and Bellin Health. The surgeon will practice within a respected, not-for-profit, physician-led healthcare network serving communities across the Midwest. The practice will be predominantly hand surgery, including complex and pediatric cases, with an opportunity to incorporate general orthopedics. The position includes general orthopedic call, currently at a 1:14 ratio, and practice at a Level II Trauma Center supported by fellowship-trained trauma specialists. Collaboration with a highly experienced, subspecialty-trained orthopedic team and opportunities for outreach to regional and rural communities are also part of this role. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited orthopedic residency.
• Completion of an accredited hand fellowship.
• ABOS board certified or eligible.
• Eligible for licensure across our multi-state service region.

Responsibilities

• Perform predominantly hand surgery, including complex and pediatric cases.
• Incorporate general orthopedics into practice.
• Participate in general orthopedic call (currently 1:14).
• Practice at a Level II Trauma Center.
• Collaborate with a highly experienced, subspecialty-trained orthopedic team.
