About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Orthopedic Foot/Ankle Surgeon at Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) in California. This role involves working in an out-patient clinic with a great patient population. The position requires a Board Certified surgeon with a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle, holding any state license, and possessing 24 months of experience in the past 36 months (residency training can be included). BLS and ACLS certifications are also required. The salary is to be determined, estimated between $275-$285/hr.

Requirements

• Successful Completion of an Orthopedic Surgery residency program
• Successful Completion of a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle
• 24 months of experience in the past 36 months (Residency training can be included)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic foot and ankle surgical services.
• Work in an out-patient clinic setting.
• Fulfill call responsibilities, including a minimum of two overnight call shifts per month and one weekend call shift every three months.
• Provide post-call coverage on Mondays following weekend call shifts.
• Complete required clinical documentation and administrative duties.
• Manage overage hours not to exceed 10 hours monthly with a maximum of 120 annual hours.
