About The Position

Full-Time, Immediate opening for a Cast Technician in a busy Orthopedic Clinic which includes Walk-In/Same Day Appointments. OFC offers a pleasant professional work environment, competitive wages, and comprehensive benefits, including generous paid time off.

Requirements

• 1 year (Preferred) experience
• Certified Cast Technician, LPN, CMA, or AT-C (Educational Preference)

Responsibilities

• Apply, adjust and remove casts
• Measure and fit patients for braces and other orthopedic devices
• Instruct patient in proper care of cast and splints, including walking with casts and boots
• Instructing patients with the use of crutches and DME
• Clean and stock patient exam and treatment rooms.
• Order medical supplies and manage DME inventory
• Adhere to established clinic/office policy and procedure directives
• EMR documentation of services performed
• Perform other duties as required
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate in a courteous, pleasant and professional manner with patients, general public, staff members, outside agencies, and all other internal and external contacts.
