About The Position

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider to join our expanding musculoskeletal and surgical services team in Central Maine. You will work with a variety of orthopedic subspecialties including sports medicine, total joints, trauma, and general orthopedics, utilizing state-of-the-art surgical and imaging facilities. Requirements

Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
Active or eligible for Maine PA/NP license
Strong communication and team-based care mindset

Nice To Haves

Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
New graduates with strong orthopedic rotations considered

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
Assist in orthopedic surgeries including joint replacement, fracture care, and sports procedures
Perform pre-op and post-op assessments
Order and interpret imaging and labs
Provide patient education, treatment planning, and follow-up care
Collaborate closely with surgeons, therapists, nursing, and ancillary teams
