About The Position

Smith+Nephew is building a U.S. talent community of experienced orthopaedic and medical technology sales professionals for potential future opportunities. This is not an approved or available vacancy; joining is an expression of interest, not an application for a specific position, and does not guarantee contact, consideration, or employment. The company is particularly interested in professionals who have sold orthopaedic implants in reconstruction, trauma, sports medicine, shoulder and extremities, robotics, or enabling technologies. Future field-sales roles may involve developing a territory and professional relationships with surgeons, operating-room staff, hospitals, and ambulatory surgery centers; supporting cases and appropriate adoption of implants and enabling technologies; achieving competitive conversions and sustainable growth; and collaborating with clinical specialists, sales leadership, marketing, and other partners. Field roles ordinarily require travel within an assigned territory and access to customer facilities. Those selected for a future role requiring facility access must complete applicable credentialing and comply with facility requirements, which may include vaccination protocols. Expressions of interest are reviewed on an ongoing basis. If an approved position becomes available, interested individuals may be invited to apply through its job posting and complete the ordinary selection and approval process. Position-specific postings will provide the good-faith salary range and compensation and benefits information. Sales roles may be eligible for commission or other performance-based incentives. The anticipated base compensation range described here is based solely on sales commission and incentives, with compensation dependent on performance.
