About The Position

CHI Health Department of Orthopedics seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our extremely productive Plastic Surgery Trained, Fellowship Trained Hand Surgeon, forming a team of one Physician and Two Advanced Practice Providers. This is a unique opportunity combining the aspects of clinical work and operating room time focusing on hand/wrist injuries and procedures at one or more of our clinics and hospital locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical and or procedural setting being able to practice autonomously and as part of a team seeing patients of the physician. Weekly responsibilities, along with operating room assistance, will be providing dedicated services to an acute hand/wrist injury walk-in clinic, seeing various fractures, sprains, dislocations, tendon and nerve damage. Operating room experiences is not a requirement as our renowned physician is willing to mentor and spend time teaching the qualified candidate with clinical experience. The position also offers, extremely lucrative pay, 401K, light call, dedicated CME time and money, very generous time off, full health, dental, vision and malpractice insurance.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
A valid and unrestricted state license or license-eligible
A valid and unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
Experience in a clinical and or procedural setting
Ability to practice autonomously and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

Operating room experience is not a requirement as our renowned physician is willing to mentor and spend time teaching the qualified candidate with clinical experience.
