About The Position
Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our experienced Orthopedic Hand Surgery team covering Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA and our Chesapeake office. The Advanced Practice Provider will work alongside an experienced/collaborative orthopedic team to provide comprehensive care to patients requiring orthopedic services.
Requirements
- Physician Assistant
- Experience in Orthopedic Hand Surgery
- Licensed to practice in Virginia
Nice To Haves
- Experience with integrated EHR (Epic)
- Experience in a team-based approach with a highly skilled orthopedic provider group
- Experience in an Integrated Hand Center with In-Office Therapy, Digital X-ray and procedure room
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients requiring orthopedic services.
- Work alongside an experienced/collaborative orthopedic team.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient services under the guidance of physicians.
- Participate in call one night a week and one weekend a month.
