About The Position

Jubilee Dental is seeking a Part-Time Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator to join their team in Sherman, TX. This role involves working Thursdays and Fridays from 9 am to 6 pm. The company, Benevis, aims to make the world a happier place by providing quality, affordable dental care and creating over a million smiles annually. The Treatment Coordinator is a key representative of the team, responsible for scheduling appointments, communicating treatment plans with doctors, assisting patients with financing, and providing exceptional customer service. The patient base is predominantly children (70% or more). The Treatment Coordinator's main objectives are to schedule appointments with interested individuals interested in receiving orthodontic care, work with doctors to communicate treatment plans, help patients afford treatment, and provide exceptional customer service so patients feel supported on their smile journey.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED is required
A minimum of 1 year orthodontic or equivalent experience is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Previous sales experience. Comfortable discussing costs and payment plans with patients
Responsive to patients (follow-up w patients, answer questions)
Computer Proficiency – comfortable in the Microsoft Office Suite
Understand and able to effectively communicate techniques utilized in the Orthodontic field

Nice To Haves

Work experience as a Treatment Coordinator in a dental practice (ideally 3+ years experience in dental and/or orthodontic environment with knowledge of Orthodontics treatments)
3+ years of sales or customer service experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of dental insurances, payment financing, and self-pay collections
X-Ray certification and CPR certification
Bilingual, Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

Obtain high treatment acceptance by explaining cost of treatment, insurance coverage, and finance options
Patient Communication and Education: Explain treatment plans and timeline to patients and families in clear, simple terms. Address concerns and answer questions.
Financial Coordination: Present financing options and assist patients with affording care. Educate patients on insurance coverage and payment options. Ensure timely payment collection and manage outstanding balances
Administrative Duties: Schedule and confirm appointments. Maintain detailed patient records (medical history, treatment in progress). Submit paperwork to insurance
Technical Assistance: Operate X-ray machines and assist with clinical tasks when required (if certified)
Solicit referrals from patients post treatment and track satisfaction with work provided
Performs to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations, company standards, and company compliance programs
Other duties as assigned.
