About The Position

RxSmile Orthodontics is seeking a motivated, patient-focused Orthodontic Technician to join our growing team in Frisco, Texas. We are looking for a certified orthodontic professional with at least two years of orthodontic experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and creating outstanding treatment experiences. As an Orthodontic Technician, you will play an essential role in helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, team-driven, and committed to providing excellent customer service while maintaining clinical excellence. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of orthodontic experience
  • Current Radiology Certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Comfortable using computers and digital orthodontic technology
  • English proficiency required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with orthodontic software programs
  • Experience with: Digital photography, Digital X-rays, 3D imaging and scanning, iTero scanning, Archwire changes, Banding and debanding procedures
  • Spanish-speaking ability is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional chairside orthodontic assistance during patient appointments
  • Take diagnostic records, including photographs, digital X-rays, 3D scans, and iTero scans
  • Assist with orthodontic procedures, including archwire changes, banding, debanding, and appliance placement/removal
  • Ensure patients are seen promptly, and treatment appointments stay on schedule
  • Educate patients and parents regarding treatment plans, oral hygiene, and appliance care
  • Create a positive and welcoming experience for every patient visit
  • Work collaboratively with doctors and team members to maintain an efficient office environment
  • Assist with general clinical and administrative duties as needed
  • Support practice growth by encouraging patient reviews, referrals, and positive community engagement
  • Follow all office policies, procedures, and safety protocols
