About The Position

Solventum is seeking an Orthodontic Sales Specialist for its Dental Solutions Division in South Florida. This role involves selling orthodontic supplies directly to orthodontists, with no intermediaries. The specialist will be responsible for meeting sales quotas, building relationships with orthodontists and their staff, managing customer accounts, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. The position requires a direct business model approach, managing customer discounts, orders, and receivables. The company emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and a people-centric approach to healthcare solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND (5) years of experience in field sales in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution AND (9) years of experience in field sales in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, Valid Drivers license is required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Candidates must successfully complete a pre-hire motor vehicle record (MVR) review and maintain ongoing eligibility, including compliance with Solventum’s driver policy, insurance requirements, and annual policy sign-off.
  • Must reside in Sales Territory (South Florida)

  • History of developing customer relationships

Responsibilities

  • Meeting an overall sales quota
  • Building relationships with orthodontists, their staffs, and orthodontic residents
  • Working with a team consisting of inside sales, customer service, and accounts receivable
  • Managing customer discounts, orders, receivables, and overall satisfaction
  • Complying with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while performing assigned duties.
