This role is responsible for delivering a positive clinical experience to all patients while adhering to company policies and state dental laws, rules, and regulations, under the general direction and supervision of an Orthodontist. Requirements

  • Ability build rapport with patients
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules and multi-task
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • One (1) year experience as an Orthodontic Clinician II
  • Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board
  • Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board
  • CPR certification if required by state Dental Board

Responsibilities

  • Places and removes orthodontic appliances and takes full records under general supervision of the Orthodontist
  • Performs bonding, placing, and expert positioning of brackets
  • Reviews patient charts, logs appropriate patient data and transcribes doctor notes
  • Performs laboratory procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist
  • Performs final checks on patients and leads patient flow
  • Manages the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responds to direct patient messages, and triages notifications
  • Educates patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring
  • Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares the equipment and operatory following standard protocols
  • Assists in Local Store Marketing and community events
  • Adheres to all infection-control policies and protocols
