We’re seeking an Orthodontic Clinician III to join our growing team. This role is responsible for delivering a positive clinical experience to all patients while following strict adherence to company policies as well as state dental laws, rules and regulations under the general direction and supervision of an Orthodontist. Requirements

  • Ability build rapport with patients
  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with patients and coworkers
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Ability to set priorities regarding patient care, manage full schedules and multi-task
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • One (1) year experience as an Orthodontic Clinician II
  • Dental Assistant certification if required by state Dental Board
  • Radiography certification if required by state Dental Board
  • CPR certification if required by state Dental Board

Responsibilities

  • Places and removes orthodontic appliances and takes full records under general supervision of the Orthodontist
  • Performs bonding, placing, and expert positioning of brackets
  • Reviews patient charts, logs appropriate patient data and transcribes doctor notes
  • Performs laboratory procedures under limited supervision of an Orthodontist
  • Performs final checks on patients and leads patient flow
  • Manages the remote monitoring dashboard including review/triage patient scans, responds to direct patient messages, and triages notifications
  • Educates patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring
  • Cleans, sterilizes, and prepares the equipment and operatory following standard protocols
  • Assists in Local Store Marketing and community events
  • Adheres to all infection-control policies and protocols
