About The Position

Lalor Family Dental is seeking a Part-Time Orthodontic Clinical Support Assistant to join their Dinosaur Orthodontics team. This is an entry-level position with no previous dental experience required, as training will be provided. The role involves supporting the clinical team with sterilization, room turnover, stocking, and general clinical needs. Additionally, the assistant will be trained to provide back-up support for patient X-rays, photographs, and digital scans. This position offers valuable hands-on experience and opportunities for learning, growth, and advancement within the organization.

Responsibilities

Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments
Clean, prepare, and turn over treatment rooms between patients
Stock treatment rooms and maintain clinical supplies
Help keep sterilization and clinical areas clean and organized
Provide additional clinical support during busy patient schedules
Learn to assist with patient X-rays, clinical photographs, and digital scans
Serve as back-up for these clinical records duties when additional coverage is needed
Follow established infection control and patient safety procedures
Work closely with the orthodontic clinical team to keep patient flow running smoothly
