About The Position

We are looking for a caring, motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our compassionate team supporting both our Fayetteville and Springdale practices. Working under the direct supervision of our licensed Orthodontists, you will deliver hands-on clinical care and create an uplifting experience for every patient.

Requirements

• Background in dental or orthodontic assisting with a solid understanding of ortho appliances, procedures, and terminology.
• Genuinely nice, kind, and respectful to fellow team members, patients, and doctors.
• Exceptional customer service skills, solid computer literacy, and the ability to work independently while anticipating the needs of the team and doctor.
• Comfortable sharing time and bringing high energy to both our Fayetteville and Springdale clinics.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Orthodontist during exams and treatments, keeping procedures running smoothly while making sure patients feel safe, relaxed, and valued.
• Perform key procedures such as placing and removing archwires, coil springs, bands, retainers, and attachments.
• Perform precision 3D digital scans and assist in fabricating custom appliances and retainers.
• Guide patients through their treatment plans, proper oral hygiene, and appliance care so they leave every appointment feeling confident and empowered.
• Prepare treatment suites, sterilize equipment, and support efficient clinical workflows to keep the day seamless.
• Keep thorough, precise treatment notes to ensure excellence and continuity in patient care.
