About The Position

360 Orthodontics is looking for a reliable Orthodontic Assistant at our Santa Ana, CA location. This position involves working 12 days a month, specifically on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. We value team members who show up consistently and on-time, get along well with others and have a supportive, team-player attitude, possess a strong attention to detail and desire to get things done quickly, and adapt well to a fast-paced environment where changes occur frequently.

Requirements

X-Ray Certification
DA, OA, or RDA Certification
CPR and/or BLS certification

Responsibilities

Take X-rays and photos
Provide chairside assisting
Perform charting
Set up and break down chairs
Perform sterilization
Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances
Take full records including panos, cephs, photos
Prepare and arrange needed tools and instruments for scheduled procedures
Perform bonding, banding, de-bonding, making clear retainers, and taking impressions
