Requirements

• Prior experience in dental or orthodontic assisting (orthodontic experience preferred).
• Strong familiarity with orthodontic appliances, clinical terminology, and patient workflow.
• A proactive mindset with the flexibility to travel and excel across both the Hot Springs and Texarkana practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to connect genuinely with patients of all ages—from children and teens to adults.
• A supportive, collaborative attitude that elevates the team culture every single day.

Responsibilities

• Work chairside alongside the Orthodontist during comprehensive exams and advanced orthodontic treatments, ensuring seamless appointment flow and maximum patient comfort.
• Precision-execute expanded clinical functions under direct doctor supervision, including the placement and removal of archwires, coil springs, bands, retainers, and attachments.
• Utilize cutting-edge 3D digital scanners to take high-precision impressions and assist in the fabrication of custom appliances and aligners.
• Serve as an educator and advocate for our patients—guiding them through their treatment journeys, explaining proper oral hygiene, and troubleshooting appliance care so they leave every appointment feeling informed and inspired.
• Prepare state-of-the-art treatment suites, meticulously sterilize instruments adhering to strict safety protocols, and maintain smooth clinical room turnarounds.
• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely patient records and treatment notes to guarantee continuity of care.
