About The Position
Hansen Orthodontics is seeking a passionate and skilled Full-Time Clinical Assistant to join their leading orthodontic practice. This role involves delivering exceptional patient care, preparing patients for examinations and treatments, and maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment. The position requires splitting time between the Blacksburg and Salem satellite offices.
Requirements
- 1 year as a Dental Assistant or Orthodontic Assistant (Preferred).
- X-Ray Certification (Preferred).
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to patients, prioritizing their comfort and health.
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment.
- Take and develop x-rays.
- Capture quality orthodontic facial photos for treatment planning.
- Prepare trays for orthodontic procedures.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Keep chairs and treatment rooms immaculate, adhering to COVID-19 requirements.
- Apply experience in orthodontic chair-side assisting.
- Pour and trim impression casts for appliances.
- Adhere to safety protocols by wearing the proper protective gear.
