About The Position

Omaha Orthodontics is expanding its team and is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Orthodontic Assistant to assist their 4 highly experienced orthodontists. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with people in a fun, fast-paced environment and have experience in the dental field. Orthodontic experience is helpful but not necessary. The role involves educating patients and parents on orthodontic health, communicating professionally, taking various types of radiographs and intraoral photographs, working alongside doctors for all orthodontic procedures, and learning new techniques including iTero intraoral scanning and sterilization maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited orthodontic assisting program preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as an orthodontic assistant or dental assistant preferred, but not required
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and the orthodontic team
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Nice To Haves

• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not necessary.
