Our growing orthodontic practice is looking for a skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Assistant to join our team! About the Role As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will work closely with our orthodontist and clinical team to provide high-quality patient care in a positive, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred
- X-ray certification (as required by the state)
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take digital impressions, X-rays, and photographs
- Place and remove archwires, brackets, and orthodontic appliances (as permitted by state regulations)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure a welcoming and supportive experience for patients of all ages
