Requirements

Previous orthodontic assisting experience required.
Current Texas dental assisting requirements, as applicable.
Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mentality.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Current CPR certification preferred.
Experience with digital scanners, clear aligners, and self-ligating bracket systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist the orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures.
Take digital X-rays, impressions, intraoral scans, and clinical photographs.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment while maintaining OSHA and infection control standards.
Place and remove orthodontic appliances as directed by the orthodontist.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper care of braces, aligners, and orthodontic appliances.
Accurately document treatment notes and patient progress.
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and assist with inventory management.
Deliver exceptional patient care while supporting an efficient clinical schedule.
