About The Position

Mid State Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center is seeking a fellowship-trained, BC/BE Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon to join their physician-led team in Alexandria, Louisiana. This is a high-demand opportunity with immediate surgical volume and no community competition, focusing on a bread-and-butter spine practice. The weekly schedule is balanced with 2-2.5 days in clinic, 2-2.5 days in the OR, and 0.5 day for administrative time. The practice benefits from a strong referral network and experienced support staff. A new, state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is opening onsite at the main location in 2026.

Requirements

• Fellowship-trained in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Eligible for or currently holding a Louisiana medical license
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Perform orthopaedic spine surgeries.
• See patients in clinic.
• Manage administrative tasks.
