About The Position

CALIBRE is seeking an experienced Operational Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) Instructor/Facilitator to support training and education efforts at Fort Belvoir, VA. This role will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for delivering graduate-level instruction on Operations Research (ORSA) methodologies and the Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The selected candidate will play a critical role in developing Army leaders and analysts by strengthening their analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities in a complex, multi-domain operational environment. This position requires a blend of operational Army experience and technical expertise, particularly within HQDA G-8, program analysis, and force management.

  • Subject matter expert on Army force management, ORSA, and decision support systems
  • Experience with tools such as Power BI, Army Vantage, and c-PROBE
  • Experience delivering graduate-level instruction on ORSA methodologies and the Army PPBE process
  • Experience facilitating classroom discussions, practical exercises, case studies, and seminars
  • Experience developing and updating curriculum, lesson plans, and Programs of Instruction (POIs) using ADDIE methodology
  • Experience providing mentorship and advisory support to students on research and analytical projects
  • Experience conducting research and leading analytical efforts to address complex Army challenges
  • Experience interfacing with stakeholders including HQDA G-8, TDAC, CAA, and other DoD organizations
  • Experience supporting development and updates to the How the Army Runs (HTAR) reference materials
  • Experience delivering executive-level briefings, white papers, and reports
  • Experience supporting senior leader training courses (FICSL, SLOCs) and exportable training as needed
  • Experience conducting curriculum benchmarking and supporting academic SOP updates

Responsibilities
