About The Position

This job posting is for current Utah Office of Recovery Services (ORS) employees who are interested in leading and coaching staff. The role involves day-to-day supervision of personnel, including hiring, workload delegation, training, performance evaluation, and corrective actions. The manager will also evaluate cases, provide on-the-job training, deliver presentations, design training materials, maintain records, review reports, resolve compliance issues, and analyze data to make recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.
  • Evaluates cases and determines need for on-going agency involvement.
  • Provides assistance and/or on-the-job training.
  • Delivers presentations, stand up training, or instruction to staff, management, clients, or the general public.
  • Designs and/or prepares training/instructional materials, teaching aids and devices.
  • Develops and maintains area specific records, reviews reports, and resolves the more sensitive compliance issues.
  • Analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data, reports findings, interprets results and/or makes recommendations.
