About The Position

The Customer Service Unit (CSU) in the Taylorsville ORS office is looking for dedicated people to work as ORS Agents (Compliance Agent I). They are responsible for answering phone calls from clients and providing case and policy related information while utilizing strong customer service skills in a fast-paced professional office environment. This role contributes to the communities by helping the Utah Office of Recovery Services (ORS) in their mission to promote responsibility, by providing child support services and support for children in care to help ensure parents are financially responsible for their children. Experience a positive work-life balance, with a Monday through Friday (8am - 5pm) work schedule and excellent benefits!

Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional customer service to clients over the phone
  • Educates and explains case actions, policy, and procedures in a clear and concise manner
  • Responds to client inquiries while complying with ORS Policy and Procedures
  • Conducts research to analyze facts, and apply knowledge of the Office of Recovery Services rules, regulations, and policies
  • Enters data into a computer system using computer software programs including web based, spreadsheet, and word processing
  • Interprets, clarifies, explains, and applies agency policy and procedures, business practices, federal and state laws and regulations
