About The Position

You will be the Orlando Operations LOB Product Lead for the Operations LOB team. Our team is responsible for Orlando Manufacturing’s successful execution of one or more programs. As the Orlando Operations LOB Product Lead you will be responsible for integrating across functions to achieve program and site goals.

Requirements

  • Completed Bachelors degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in team building and leading.
  • History of high to exceptional performance.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of operations – quality, supply chain, production operations.
  • Experience creating presentations and presenting to large audiences that include internal and external customer representatives.
  • Lean six sigma knowledge.
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related discipline.
  • Experience working in mechanical/electrical manufacturing environments.
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certified.
  • Proficient in SAP and Excel.
  • Clear understanding of the production processes employed within Lockheed Martin.
  • Capacity analysis and level loading.
  • Experience prioritizing and deploying resources to meet competing program demands.
  • Ability to develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Data analysis skills: trend analysis, data storytelling, statistical analysis.
  • Knowledge of fundamental program/project management principles, such as: Earned Value Management, root cause analysis, critical path analysis, and risk and opportunity management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement creative solutions that maximize production, including process updates, engineering changes, and manpower‑allocation strategies.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation plans, and drive throughput improvements.
  • Attend, report, and follow‑up on daily program meetings while creating and tracking recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing management, and the IE team to review estimates, manage critical drawing changes, and plan shop capacity.
  • Monitor cost/performance metrics, coordinate FAI/PLV activities, and support Performance Management and Work Center Based teams.
