About The Position

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time Orion Systems Engineer. Be a part of the Artemis and Orion teams taking astronauts to the Moon and beyond. As a Systems Engineer on the Orion program, you will be responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of hardware and software integration activities for the Orion Integrated Test Laboratory in support of Artemis III and future missions. We are seeking a Systems Engineering Associate to support the Denver Integrated Test Lab (ITL) operations including: Artemis 3 and future mission test and operations, Hands-on integration and troubleshooting activities, Some 2nd shift/weekend support required.

Requirements

B.S in Engineering or related degree from an accredited college or university
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical engineering drawings
Strong written and verbal communication skills and detail-oriented nature
US Citizen

Responsibilities

Planning, preparation, and execution of hardware and software integration activities for the Orion Integrated Test Laboratory in support of Artemis III and future missions.
Support the Denver Integrated Test Lab (ITL) operations including Artemis 3 and future mission test and operations.
Hands-on integration and troubleshooting activities.
Some 2nd shift/weekend support required.
