About The Position

As a member of the operations team, your responsibilities would include supporting the Orion system, which is used for client performance reporting. This involves new account set-up, daily updates and reconciliation, monitoring reporting and integration of alternative assets, and monthly performance updates. You will proactively monitor dashboards to ensure system integrity and data accuracy, develop custom templates and summary reports, and serve as a point of contact for operations issues for advisor teams, custodians, and third-party solution providers. A working understanding of the metrics, calculations, key user workflows, and operational processes involved in the end-to-end maintenance of the reporting platform is essential. You will also document required processes, participate in requirements gathering for system updates, and help facilitate user integration and acceptance testing. Additionally, you will support the integration of new advisors onto the Orion system, which includes establishing clients/accounts, linking to custodians, converting history, reconciling history conversion, and populating custom attributes. You will also create and test client packages in conjunction with users, ensure adequate internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements, and assist with improvement projects, ad-hoc projects, and research projects. Maintaining written procedures and continuously improving initiatives to identify potential solutions and efficiencies are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; in Business or financial services preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • 5 - 7 years' experience in portfolio reporting and performance management software; Orion Experience.
  • Supporting client portfolio reporting, investment data management, or portfolio oversight within a wealth management or financial services environment.
  • Proven history of being a “self-starter,” and a track record of working effectively in a remote/virtual environment, with a distributed team.
  • Ability to “manage up” and have direct, open, and progressive conversations with Management and Partners across the firm.
  • An appetite for analytical problem-solving and desire to maintain a solutions-oriented approach to addressing opportunities and challenges.
  • Team player who welcomes feedback with the goal of continuous improvement.
  • Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply AI or advanced analytics tools to optimize reporting workflows and enhance decision-making.
  • Attitude that no task is too small and a willingness to do whatever tasks are necessary to make sure that the work is done on time.
  • Proficiency in technology/applications a must – experience with excel required.

Responsibilities
