Under the supervision of the Director of Public Affairs - Iowa, the Organizing & Advocacy Manager will lead and execute grassroots organizing and advocacy efforts throughout Iowa. The Organizing & Advocacy Manager is responsible for building a grassroots activist network and supporting coalitions with allied organizations and constituencies. The Organizing & Advocacy Manager works collaboratively with the Public Affairs team to strengthen community relationships, recruit and develop volunteers, and execute organizing activities for both Planned Parenthood North Central States and Planned Parenthood Advocates of Iowa. This position also supports tracking, analysis, and reporting of organizing and advocacy outcomes to measure progress toward campaign and annual goals. The Organizing & Advocacy Manager position supervises interns and organizing staff, develops and implements organizing plans, supports advocacy and electoral campaigns, and builds and activates a network of grassroots supporters in pursuit of our mission of "Advancing and protecting sexual and reproductive healthcare for all." They may perform other related duties as assigned.
