About The Position

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by meaningful work? The Santa Fe Animal Shelter is looking for a part-time Organizational Support Coordinator to support our donor services, administrative operations, compliance tracking, HR functions, and payroll processing. This behind-the-scenes role helps keep the organization running smoothly and ensures we provide excellent service to our community and the animals in our care. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Organizational Support Coordinator to join our Human Resources team.

Requirements

Strong organizational skills and a love for structure and systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Comfort working in an animal welfare environment
Familiarity with Google Workspace, MS365 and general office technology

Nice To Haves

Experience in administrative support, HR, Donor services, or payroll processing is a plus

Responsibilities

Support HR duties such as job postings, onboarding coordination, and maintaining employee files
Assist the Philanthropy, Finance, HR, and Executive teams with a variety of administrative tasks
Sort and route daily mail and scan donations into our systems.
Provide donor support, including answering phone calls, processing donations securely over the phone, and responding to general donor inquiries via email.
Maintain organized digital and physical donation records
Track charitable solicitation requirements for out-of-state fundraising and maintain compliance files
Assist with payroll by collecting timesheets, verifying hours, and preparing information for processing
Keep records, documentation, and compliance calendars up to date
