Supervises daily Organics / Composting Operations and staff. This requires the Supervisor to adapt to fluctuations in input quality and quantity while ensuring the biological systems function efficiently to maintain continuous production. The role involves supervising Organics / Composting staff, reviewing and evaluating work for quality and timeliness, and ensuring quality control in adherence to policies and procedures. It also includes knowledge of the lifecycle and upkeep of "yellow iron" equipment such as loaders, grinders, screeners, and windrow turners. The position coordinates workflow and assignments, supervises and monitors daily operations, and reviews and controls the implementation of safety regulations and company policies. Additionally, it involves coordinating repairs, maintenance, and inspections, collecting weekly and/or monthly readings, creating and submitting records and reports, and overseeing personnel needs including coaching, training, and evaluating employee performance, with input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
