About The Position

As an Organic Coating Technician, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives! The position involves applying organic coatings to acrylic, polycarbonate, and glass substrates. You will be working in a cleanroom environment that requires wearing PPE. You will be working with solvents such as I.P.A and Acetone. Requirements

  • Must have the use of, or access to, information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
  • Must provide one of the following forms of identification as part of their application: (1) Passport, (2) Birth Certificate, (3) Certificate of Naturalization (USCIS Form N-550 or N-570), or (4) Permanent Resident Card (USCIS Form I-551).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
  • Proficient with using a computer and basic understanding of Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
  • Will be required to wear a respirator.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all PPG safety protocols and encourage a broad safety culture.
  • Apply organic coatings to acrylic, polycarbonate, and glass substrates.
  • Work in a cleanroom environment that requires wearing PPE.
  • Work with solvents such as I.P.A and Acetone.
  • Maintain good record keeping skills.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Positively contribute to a team environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and support team engagement initiatives.
  • Perform TPMs on equipment.
  • Monitor UV curing robots.
