About The Position
Join our environmental testing team as an Organic Analyst! In this role, you will prepare and analyze water, soil, sediment, and oil samples while ensuring accurate data collection and compliance with laboratory procedures.
Requirements
- Experience with environmental laboratory testing preferred
- Familiarity with Agilent GC, GC/MS, ECD, GC-FID, Chromeleon, and G1701 software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of good laboratory practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Good manual dexterity for laboratory work
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze environmental samples according to standard operating procedures
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
- Use LIMS software to track, batch, and prepare samples
- Prepare standards, track chemicals, and perform routine instrument maintenance
- Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas
- Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies
- Assist with other laboratory duties as assigned
