About The Position
The Organ Recovery Technician (ORT) is responsible for helping complete and maintain organ donor medical records, supply management, assisting in the operating room during organ recovery, preservation of kidneys, and allocation of kidneys for successful transplantation. In addition, this position is responsible for assisting with the initiation of organ donor cases.
Requirements
- Degree or certification in health-related field
- Minimum of 2 years’ work experience preferred
- Experience with sterile technique preferred
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Analytical skills
- Detail-oriented
- Must have auto liability insurance
